Who si Nelly and what does she provide ?
Grandma Nelly is a person with a huge heart that devotes her love to the community in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. She connects one and other in Grandma Nelly’s kitchen, serving nutrition meals to seniors in the community she serves.
In addition to meals, Nelly’s Kitchen is a space that provides love and support to the families she serves. Nelly began feeding only a few families, today she has close to 30 families that come to the kitchen twice a week. Nelly, mainly provides meals to Seniors. She cooks the meals considering specific needs for that age group.
Nelly’s community kitchen is a place that receives people with open arms and a meal prepared with the unconditional love of Grandma Nelly .
Goals
Short term goal
Gaby Rossi Foundation provides monthly donations for essential supplies to help maintain the community kitchen.
Long Term Goal
The acquisition of an industrial kitchen, to increase efficiency and facilitate the process of providing food to seniors.
Donations
We achieved significant accomplishments that allowed Abuela Nelly to prepare her meals for more people, planning in advance and based on needs.
We are currently supporting efforts to add a freezer, microwave, shelves and kitchen tools.
